David van Rooy

David Van Rooy currently serves as the Group Vice President of Human Resources for Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Sourcing at Albertsons Companies, leading an HR team for a 15,000-person organization and acting as the HR Integration lead for the merger with Kroger. Previously, David held senior roles at Vail Resorts and Walmart Canada, where responsibilities included talent strategy and organizational capability for a workforce of approximately 90,000 associates. Prior positions at Walmart encompassed global leadership development and international HR strategy, while David's early career included significant roles at Marriott International and Burger King Corporation. David holds a PhD in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Florida International University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology/Business from Central Michigan University.
