Mike Garrett

Mike Garrett is the current Head of Finance for Albion Community Power at Albion Capital Group. Prior to this, they were the Finance Director for Imtech Water Waste & Energy Ltd from March 2015 to September 2015. In this role, they were responsible for financial reporting within the Dutch listed group, forecasting and business planning during a time of significant business stress, and joint venture management. From February 2014 to December 2014, Mike Garrett served as the Finance Business Partner for MoneySavingExpert.com. In this role, they were a member of the senior leadership team and acted as a business partner to senior management. Mike was also responsible for business strategy updates, budget preparation, business case preparation, and reporting and system improvements. Prior to this, Mike Garrett worked for Ineos from January 2009 to December 2013 as Business Controller (Finance) for the Olefins & Polyolefins Business. In this role, they were responsible for monthly financial reporting for O&P Europe, cash flow and working capital reporting and forecasting, and the development of improved business analysis to support working capital and cash flow improvements. Mike also led the annual budget process and prepared long term plans to support group refinancings and reviews of divisional business performance and strategy. In addition, they prepared financial information and analysis to support major new capital projects or reviews of ongoing operations and coordinated the due diligence process for potential acquisitions. Financial analysis was also provided to support negotiations and finance raising.

Mike Garrett's educational career includes a Master of Arts in Economics and Theirtory from St Andrews University.
