Laila D.

Laila D. currently serves as Senior Legal Counsel at Albourne, having started in April 2023. Prior experience includes roles as Legal Counsel at Avast from January 2017 to October 2022 and at AVG Technologies from April to December 2016. Laila held the position of Legal Adviser at Exterion Media UK for a short-term contract in early 2016 and worked as a Contracts Negotiator at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust later that year. Prior legal experience includes serving as a Solicitor at Dentons Kensington Swan between March 2013 and June 2015, where Laila progressed from Law Clerk to Summer Clerk. Earlier experience includes a role in production and marketing coordination at EMI Music Publishing from October 2007 to December 2009. Laila holds a Bachelor of Laws from Victoria University of Wellington and a Bachelor of Broadcasting Communications in Broadcast Journalism from New Zealand Broadcasting School.
