Steve Connor

Steve Connor has over 16 years of experience in product marketing, product management, sales enablement, channel marketing, and district management. Steve began their career in 2005 as a District Manager at General Electric, where they drove sales for six categories of security and life safety products, resulting in $10.5 Million of annual revenue. Steve then became a Product Manager at General Electric, where they added a new Home Technologies product category that included Eco Homes, SmartCom residential intercom/multi-room audio system and SmartCommand home system control touch screen, resulting in an incremental $2.4 Million in revenue in the first year. In 2009, they moved to Viewpoint Construction Software as a Sales Enablement Marketing Manager, where they produced strategic tools to support business development activities of 35 Sales Representatives with a company goal of $52 Million in annual sales revenue. Steve then became the Channel Marketing Manager at Viewpoint Construction Software, where they collaborated with Channel Partners to develop quarterly, geographic specific, marketing plans to drive market penetration and achieve revenue targets in excess of $2.1 Million annually. In 2014, they moved to Nortek Security & Control as the Director of Product Marketing and Senior Product Line Manager. In 2018, they moved to UTC Climate, Controls & Security as the Product Management Leader. In 2019, they moved to Identiv as the Sr. Product Manager. Finally, in 2022, they moved to Alcatraz as the Director of Product Marketing and to Tascent as the Director of Product Management - Access Control.

Steve Connor obtained their MBA from Portland State University - School of Business. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business - Management, Marketing and Finance from the University of Montana, and a Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA in Business Administration - Management, Marketing and Finance from The University of Montana - College of Business.
