Joe Pittari has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Joe currently serves as the Chief Administrative Officer at The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario since September 2020. Prior to this, Joe was the President of Public Sector Performance - PSP, a governance and management consulting organization they founded in 2008. Joe has also held the position of Senior Vice President at PSDI - Professional Skills Development Institute, providing strategic advice and training to clients. Additionally, Joe has held various leadership positions in the public sector, including Commissioner of Legislative Services at the City of Brampton and Commissioner of Strategic and Corporate Services at the City of Vaughan. Joe also has experience working with the Ontario Ministry of the Attorney General and served as Vice Chair of the Catholic School Advisory Committee. Joe's early career involved serving as Principal and Chief Security Officer at DPRA/Terriplan, where they oversaw the operations and business development of multiple offices across Canada.
Joe Pittari received their Bachelor of Science degree in Geography and Math from the University of Victoria from 1991 to 1995. Joe then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Medical Geography at the same institution from 1996 to 2000. Prior to their university education, they studied at KCSS and Holy Name, although the specific years and degrees obtained are unknown.
