Dr. Irene Iglesias

Dr. Irene Iglesias is a Senior Scientist II at Alcon since March 2023, previously serving as an Entwicklungsingenieurin at KROHNE Group from November 2020 to July 2022. Dr. Iglesias completed a PhD in Physics at the University of Duisburg-Essen, where research focused on the miniaturization of core-shell cylindrical structures. Additional experience includes roles as a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiterin at the University of Duisburg-Essen, and organizing significant conferences and symposiums in the field of magnetism. Dr. Iglesias has contributed to various research projects and internships at institutions such as the Spanish Council for Scientific Research and Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University, and holds dual degrees in Physics and Pedagogy from Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University.
