Jason Britton

Jason Britton has a diverse work experience in the field of user experience design and management. Jason is currently working as a Senior Principal UX Architect at Alcon since 2022. Previously, they worked at MPE-Inc from 2017 to 2022, where they were the Director of User Experience Design and later the User Experience & Human Factors Engineering Director. At Verifone, they were the User Experience Manager from 2014 to 2017, and at Hewlett-Packard, they worked as a Mobile UX Design Consultant in 2013. Prior to that, they held positions at Nokia Mobile Phones as a Product Usability Manager and User Experience Lead, KYOCERA Global as a User Experience Design Staff Manager, CalAmp as a Senior User Experience Engineer, marchFIRST/Divine as a Senior Information Architect, and the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health as an ORISE Fellow. Throughout their career, Jason has established and managed UX and HFE disciplines, developed design procedures, managed departments, and ensured design compliance. Jason has also conducted research, created research tools and templates, and contributed to risk assessments and user needs compilation. Jason has experience in managing teams and collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide optimal user experiences.

Jason Britton has a BA in History from San Diego State University and an MS in Information Science/Studies from San Jose State University.
