Sanjay Datta is a seasoned professional in digital health and technology with extensive experience in leadership roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as Sr Director of Digital Health at Alcon since May 2018, Sanjay Datta leads R&D activities focused on software as a medical device (SaMD) products and influences strategic product roadmaps. Prior experience includes positions such as Principal Engineer/Development Manager at Abbott, where Sanjay Datta managed a global team and engaged customers for product development, and Delivery Manager at UnitedHealth Group, overseeing web application architecture and deployment. Sanjay Datta also held senior management roles at CSC. An engineering graduate from Gulbarga University, Sanjay Datta possesses a strong educational foundation in computer science.
