Kartikey Tiwari

Kartikey Tiwari has a comprehensive background in data engineering and big data software development. Kartikey'smost recent position was at Ayvens, where they served as the Head of Data Engineering. Prior to that, they worked at EPAM Systems as the Unit Head of Big Data Software Engineering in Poland, leading a team of 30 data engineers. Kartikey also played a key role in automating systems migration for NIKE and architecting data solutions for Kantar's Online Data Marketplace.

Before their time at EPAM Systems, Kartikey worked at Grid Dynamics as the Big Data Specialization Lead, designing and developing ETL/ELT pipelines on Microsoft Azure Cloud platform. Kartikey oversaw a team of data engineers, analysts, and QA engineers, and implemented standards and processes.

Prior to Grid Dynamics, Kartikey worked at William Hill as a Senior Big Data Developer, spearheading the development of enterprise data transformation and migration pipelines. Kartikey led design efforts and worked on audit and monitoring pipelines for migration processes.

Earlier in their career, Kartikey worked at Edgematics as a Big Data Consultant, designing and managing data pipelines and warehousing solutions using Spark, Talend, Hadoop, and AWS. Kartikey also took the lead in stakeholder engagements and presales initiatives.

Kartikey began their career at Infosys as a System Engineer in the DNA (Data and Analysis) unit. Kartikey worked on complex ETL/BI Big Data projects, utilizing Hadoop, Hive, Spark, SQL, and Tableau. Kartikey excelled in corporate training in BI, Enterprise Reporting, Data Warehousing, and Big Data.

Kartikey Tiwari completed their Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Electronics and communications engineering from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University from 2012 to 2016. Kartikey also holds additional certifications such as the Google Project Management Certificate from Coursera, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Zaloni Certified Data Lake Professional from Zaloni, obtained in 2019 and 2021 respectively.
