Heather McGranahan

Heather McGranahan serves as the Compliance Officer at Alden State Bank since October 2023, overseeing compliance risk management and fostering a culture of compliance. Previously, at KeyBank from December 2021 to June 2023, Heather was an AVP Compliance Officer, managing high-risk consumer complaints and coordinating with compliance and legal teams. At M&T Bank, from June 2015 to December 2021, Heather progressed from Operations Associate to Banking Officer, specializing in compliance risk management and leadership development through the Operations Management Program. Heather started a career in compliance as Chief Compliance Officer for Smart Start, Inc. (2011-2015) and held various positions in Erie County, including Project Manager and Coordinator, following an internship with Erie County Adult Probation. Heather holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Medaille University.
