Mikael Engqvist

Mikael Engqvist has extensive experience in educational leadership and teaching, currently serving as Utbildningschef at Arena Utbildning since October 2021. Prior to this role, Mikael worked as Ansvarig ekonomiprogrammet and teacher at Ånge kommun from April 2020 to October 2021, and held positions as Utbildningschef and Samordnare at Hermods AB between January 2012 and August 2019. Mikael's earlier experience includes Programansvarig and teacher at Hola Folkhögskola, and Samordnare for Integration at Sollefteå kommun, where initiatives focused on education for refugees and technology integration. Mikael began the career as a Projektledare and consultant at Alna Sverige AB, specializing in alcohol and drug prevention training. Educational qualifications include a degree in Social Science, teaching credentials for various levels, and expertise in subjects such as political science and pedagogy, obtained from Mid Sweden University from 1996 to 2002.
