Anna Rychkova is a highly skilled scientist with extensive experience in bioinformatics, target discovery, and genomics. Currently serving as a Staff Scientist and Bioinformatics Group Leader at Alector since May 2020, Rychkova oversees the Bioinformatics team, setting goals and supporting professional growth while establishing an in-house bulk RNAseq processing pipeline. Prior experience includes positions at Amgen, where Rychkova contributed to computational biology in the Neuroscience Therapeutic Area, as well as at Stanford University as a Postdoctoral Fellow leading machine learning initiatives for the ClinGen consortium. Rychkova holds a PhD in Computational Chemistry and a MS in Physics/Biophysics from Lomonosov Moscow State University. Publications include multiple papers in peer-reviewed journals, showcasing contributions to various aspects of computational biology and chemistry.
