Ginger Levy

Ginger Levy has a strong background in corporate law and legal affairs. Ginger is currently working as the Vice President of Corporate Law at Alector since March 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Director/Senior Corporate Counsel at Alector from February 2021 to March 2023. Before joining Alector, Ginger worked at Jazz Pharmaceuticals as the Executive Director/Senior Corporate Counsel from August 2011 to January 2021. Ginger also has experience as a Legal Consultant from 2008 to 2011. Ginger started their career at Elan Pharmaceuticals, where they served as the Vice President of Legal Affairs from 1997 to 2006. Prior to that, they worked as an Associate at Gray Cary Ware & Freidenrich, now known as DLA Piper, from April 1995 to January 1997. Ginger also gained experience as an Associate at Wilmer Cutler & Pickering, now WilmerHale, from September 1991 to February 1995. Ginger began their career as a Judicial Clerk for Hon. Barefoot Sanders at the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Texas, from 1990 to 1991.

Ginger Levy has a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from Yale Law School. Ginger also holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in History from the University of Pennsylvania. It is unclear when they attended these institutions and when they completed their degrees.
