Li Zhou

Li Zhou is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in antibody discovery, molecular biology, and therapeutic development. Currently serving as a Staff Scientist at Alector since November 2022, Li Zhou previously held positions as a Senior Scientist at Zai Lab US LLC, where an in-house NGS-based antibody discovery platform was established, and at Immune-Onc Therapeutics, where CRISPR CAR-T systems were developed. Earlier roles include contributions at Atreca, Inc., focusing on yeast surface display techniques, and at Sorrento Therapeutics, Inc., where innovative phage-panning systems for cancer targets were designed. Li Zhou's research origins are rooted in molecular biochemistry, with a Ph.D. from The University of Texas at Austin and initial training as an undergraduate research assistant at Tsinghua University.
