Mary Lu Gonzalez

Mary Lu Gonzalez has a diverse work experience in the field of biotechnology and bioscience. Mary Lu is currently employed at Alector as the Director of Cell Culture & Process Development since March 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as the Associate Director of Cell Culture and Upstream Process Development at Alector from March 2020 to March 2022. Before joining Alector, Mary held the position of Senior Scientist in Cell Line Development at Alector from October 2016 to March 2020.

Earlier in their career, Mary worked at Aragen Bioscience, Inc. as a Senior Research Associate and Lead of Hybridoma Development from February 2013 to September 2016. Mary Lu also served as a Volunteer Board Member at San Andreas Regional Center from May 2009 to May 2015.

Mary gained research experience as a Research Associate III in Hybridoma at Facet Biotech from January 2008 to January 2009, at PDL BioPharma from July 2005 to January 2008, and at Epitomics - an Abcam Company from May 2004 to July 2005. Overall, Mary has a strong background in cell culture, process development, and hybridoma research.
