Brent Thoennes

Brent Thoennes has been working in the engineering and mechanics fields since 2004. Brent started their career as a Field Artilleryman in the Minnesota Army National Guard. In 2008, they became a Diesel Mechanic at Prairie Implement, where they carried out repair and maintenance of ag equipment as well as new equipment set-up. In 2017, they joined Applied Engineering, Inc. as a Test Engineer and Service Troubleshooter. Most recently, they began working as a Research and Development Engineer at LulzBot in 2021.

Brent Thoennes completed a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering from North Dakota State University between 2012 and 2017. Prior to that, they earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) in Diesel Mechanics Technology/Technician from Alexandria Technical and Community College between 2004 and 2008.
