Dan Davidi is an experienced professional currently serving as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Aleph since January 2023. Prior to this role, Dan was a Research Scientist at Amazon from April 2022 to January 2023, where responsibilities included leading strategy and design for a confidential sustainability initiative. Dan also held the position of Associate Director of Synthetic Biology at Harvard Medical School, managing business development for collaborative research projects, and previously worked as a project manager on a multimillion-dollar bioremediation initiative. As a founder and CEO of Kavra from 2012 to 2016, Dan developed proprietary technology for fish reproduction while supporting youth training in aquaculture. Academic credentials include a PhD in Environmental Science from the Weizmann Institute of Science, an MS in Biotechnology and Microbiology from Tel Aviv University, and a Bachelor's in Mathematics and Biology from the same institution.
