Erica Marom (Chernofsky) has had a varied and successful career in communications and media. Erica began their career in 2005 as an Editor/Writer for The Jerusalem Post, where they wrote feature stories for the Weekend newsmagazine and the daily newspaper. Erica also edited the daily paper and the Weekend newsmagazine, and created and wrote a popular weekly fashion column. In 2006, they moved to BBC News, where they wrote, produced, filmed and edited news and feature stories for the BBC. Erica also created multimedia digital content and special features on Israeli culture, society and technology. In 2019, Erica joined G-CMO as a Member, and also became Chief Communications Officer and Head of Marketing and Messaging at Aleph. In their role at Aleph, they lead the company's marketing, brand and content, and works closely with founders and portfolio companies on brand building, storytelling, messaging and content creation, as well as developing and implementing media and PR strategies. Erica also created the Urica® brand strategy process and methodology to help founders create compelling and sustainable brands.
Erica Marom (Chernofsky) earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communications from New York University between 2001 and 2005.
