Jordan Dennett has extensive work experience in the fashion industry. Jordan started their career as an intern at Velasco Couture in 2002. In 2003, they worked as a design intern at Isaac Mizrahi Ready Made LLC for Couture and Ready to Wear collections. In the same year, they also interned at Michael Kors, working on the women's and men's collections.
In 2006, Dennett joined J.Crew as an assistant designer of Washed Product and Denim, and later became an associate designer of Tops. Jordan then became a designer of Tops and Outerwear, and eventually held the position of senior designer of Jackets and Outerwear. Jordan worked at J.Crew until 2017.
In 2016, Dennett joined Marissa Webb as a senior designer consultant. There, they designed various categories including tops, dresses, pants, skirts, jackets, outerwear, and leather. Jordan provided design research and inspiration, as well as fabric selection and initial direction until 2018.
In 2018, Dennett joined DVF (Diane von Furstenberg) as a senior designer. Their responsibilities included designing all woven and knit categories such as dresses, evening wear, tops, bottoms, jackets, outerwear, trim, accessories, and leather goods. Jordan provided design direction, inspiration, fabric selection, development, print direction and development, color direction, fittings, and tech packs. Jordan worked at DVF until 2019.
Finally, in 2019, Dennett joined Alex Mill as a senior designer, where they currently hold the position.
Jordan Dennett attended Parsons School of Design - The New School from 2002 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Fashion Design.
