Luiz Miranda

Luiz Miranda is a highly experienced legal professional currently serving as a Senior Litigation Associate at Quinn Emanuel since December 2024, with prior experience as an Intellectual Property Senior Associate at Mayer Brown from March 2018 to December 2024. Luiz's career includes a role as a Non-Term Law Clerk for the Honorable Judge Darrin P. Gayles in the U.S. District Courts and various positions at Mayer Brown and the United States Courts including a judicial internship. Luiz also has a strong background in technology, having worked at Microsoft from 2001 to 2014 in multiple capacities, including Software Developer Engineer II and Technical Lead. Luiz earned a Master of Laws (LLM) in International Law and Arbitration from the University of Miami School of Law and a Doctor of Law (JD) with Magna Cum Laude honors from the same institution, following a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Central Florida.
