Emily King

Emily King is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as Design Director at Alexandria Real Estate Equities, Inc. since May 2019, Emily previously held positions as Art Director at both Keith & Co., where oversight of NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory book projects was a highlight, and PlanetArt.com, where management of creative initiatives for seven international brands was undertaken. Co-owning King Design Office allowed Emily to leverage brand strategy and design across a range of media, while earlier roles included significant contributions as Graphic Designer and Adjunct Art Director at Brand Culture Company, as well as Brand Analyst at Siegel & Gale. The career began at RLR Advertising, focusing on print and outdoor advertising design. Education includes attendance at the Rhode Island School of Design and UC Santa Barbara.
