Sean Powell MBA MBE

Sean Powell MBA MBE has a wealth of experience in security and advanced search operations. Sean Powell began their career in 2007 as a Sergeant in the British Army, and was promoted to Sergeant Major in 2014. During this time, they served with 33 Engineer Regiment (EOD) in Afghanistan and Iraq, and was a Lead Advisor on high profile venue searches in Bournemouth, Brighton, and Birmingham. In 2017, they joined the MOD as a Sergeant Major Instructor for EOD and Advanced Search. In 2019, they began working for Saab as a Course Designer and Lead Instructor. In 2020, they took on several roles including Managing Director of Airius Home, Project Lead for ALFORD Group, and Project Delivery Manager for ATOM Training. Most recently in 2021, they joined the U.S. Secret Service as a Security Consultant, and is currently a Consultant/Associate for the College of Policing.

Sean Powell MBA MBE has a varied educational background. Sean Powell completed a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Leadership & Management from Northumbria University in 2017, a Master of Business Administration - MBA from the University of Northampton in 2018, and a PGDip in Strategic Project Management/Leadership from Stratford Buisness School in 2017. Sean Powell also completed a Disaster Relief Operations course at the Royal School of Miltary Engineering in 2004-2005, a Level 4 Teaching Certificate (CTLLS/CET) at the Army Training Centre Pirbright, and a Leadership & Management course from Northumbria University in 2015-2017. Most recently, they obtained a CT Security Coordinator certification from the College of Policing in 2021 and is currently pursuing a Certified Security Managment Professional certification from Ismi, which is expected to be completed in 2022.
