Carolyn Naismith

Carolyn Naismith currently serves as the Clinical Services Director at Alfred Health, a position held since May 2023. Carolyn has extensive experience in cardiac services, having worked at Austin Health since January 2007 in various roles, including Divisional Manager of Cardiac Services and Specialty Surgery, Nurse Unit Manager of the Cardiac Cath Lab, and Cardiac Services Manager. Additionally, Carolyn holds the position of Chairperson for the Interventional Nurses Council at The Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand since August 2019. Educational credentials include a Certificate in Healthcare Leadership and Strategy from Harvard Medical School and a Master’s Degree in Registered Nursing from La Trobe University, complemented by undergraduate studies at Siena College, Camberwell.
