Rasika Abeysekara

Rasika Abeysekara has extensive work experience in the field of corporate reporting, data and reporting analysis, and IT consulting. They currently hold the position of Team Lead - Corporate Reporting at Alfred Health since August 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Corporate Reporting Analyst at Alfred Health from October 2022 to August 2023.

Before joining Alfred Health, Rasika worked as a Data and Reporting Specialist at the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman from December 2018 to September 2022. They also gained experience in GIS analysis and location management serviceability at nbn™ Australia, where they held the roles of GIS Analyst - Location Management Serviceability and Senior Analyst - LMS Support from July 2015 to December 2018 and August 2016 to November 2018, respectively.

In addition, Rasika has worked as a Reporting & Datawarehouse Specialist at AIG from May 2013 to July 2015, as a Report Analyst/IT Consultant at Bankwest from August 2012 to May 2013, and as an IT Consultant/Access Developer at GNC Group from June 2012 to August 2012.

Rasika Abeysekara completed a Bachelor of Information Technology at SLIIT from 2006 to 2009. They are currently pursuing a Master's degree in Data Science at RMIT University, expected to be completed in 2023. In addition to their formal education, Rasika has obtained certifications such as the Jira Fundamentals Badge from Atlassian in October 2023, the Academic Integrity Awareness certification from RMIT University in March 2021, and the Microsoft 20778 - Analyzing Data with Power BI - Performance Course certification from DDLS in April 2020.
