Atah Cocker

Sloan Foundation Graduate Fellow at Alfred P. Sloan Foundation

Atah Cocker is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in climate resilience and environmental education. Currently serving as Climate Resilience Director and Geographic Information Systems Specialist for the Kiowa Tribe since October 2023, Cocker also operates Daum Consulting LLC, focusing on cross-cultural collaboration and sustainability consulting for non-Indigenous clients. As a Sloan Foundation Graduate Fellow with the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation and previous Climate Resilience Manager for the Kiowa Tribe's Natural Resource Department, Cocker has demonstrated a commitment to environmental leadership. Notable achievements include designing and implementing an indigenous youth environmental program in the Adirondacks. Cocker's academic credentials include a Master of Science in Conservation Biology and multiple degrees from The University of Auckland.
