Lauren von Eckartsberg

Lauren von Eckartsberg is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in grants administration, education, and photography. Currently serving as Grants Administrator and previously as Grants Coordinator at the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation since March 2017, Lauren also holds the position of Education and Community Outreach Director at Souls in Focus since May 2022. As the owner of Lauren von Eckartsberg Photography since December 2016, Lauren showcases artistic talent through photography services. Prior experience includes work as a consultant at the Global Network of Women Peacebuilders, where responsibilities involved program development, budget preparation, and representation at UN events. Lauren also contributed to the New York Language Center as Director of Studies and English Teacher from September 2011 to July 2015. Educational background includes a Master’s degree in Latin American and Caribbean Studies from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Spanish from Case Western Reserve University.
