Saku Peter Nousiainen

Saku Peter Nousiainen has a diverse work experience, starting with their current position as an Investment Director at the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation since 2020. Prior to this, they held the role of Senior Investment Associate in the Public Equity & Hedge Funds division at Church Pension Group from 2014 to 2020. Saku Peter also worked as a Guest Lecturer at New York University in 2018 and 2019, focusing on Manager Selection and Management of Portfolio of Hedge Funds. Saku's earlier experiences include being an Equity Analyst at Bloomberg LP from 2013 to 2014, a Research Analyst (Lead) at Glass, Lewis & Co. from 2011 to 2013, and a Junior Analyst at Fredericks Michael & Co. for a few months in 2011. Additionally, they worked as a Research Associate at Glass, Lewis & Co. for a short period in 2011. Before pursuing a career in finance, Saku served as a Startup Manager at Lumi Productions Ltd / Uneton48 Start-Up from 2007 to 2009 and chaired the Board of the Fulbright Alumni Association in 2008 and 2009.

Saku Peter Nousiainen has a diverse educational background. Saku Peter obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Finance from the University of Gothenburg, where they studied from 2008 to 2010. In 2004 to 2006, they pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Music from New York University.

To further enhance their expertise in Investment Management, Saku attended the Harvard Business School Executive Education in 2022. Saku Peter completed the CFA - Harvard Investment Management Workshop, which is a valuable certification for professionals in the field.
