Senior Scientist at Alga Biosciences

Amy Eisenberg is a highly qualified scientist with significant experience in cellular and molecular biology. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist at Alga Biosciences since February 2023, Amy previously worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at UC Santa Barbara from November 2020 to February 2023 and as a Graduate Student at the University of California, Berkeley from August 2014 to August 2020, where Amy earned a PhD in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology. Amy's earlier roles include Research Technician positions at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, as well as a Research Assistant at Brandeis University focusing on bacteriorhodopsin research. Additionally, Amy has teaching experience as a Teaching Assistant for an Evolution course at Brandeis University and tutoring experience with elementary school children through Dreamcatcher Learning. Amy holds a Bachelor of Science degree, Summa Cum Laude, in Biology with Highest Honors from Brandeis University.
