Kevin Melnyk

Kevin Melnyk's work experience is extensive and varied. Kevin has held senior roles at Algonquin Power & Utilities Corp., including Senior Vice President of Finance-Renewables and Senior Director in business development. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Director of Mergers & Acquisitions at Livingston International. Kevin also worked as a Partner at PRIVEQ Capital Funds, focusing on private equity investments. Earlier in their career, they held positions at CVCA, Crosbie Capital Management, National Bank of Canada, and PricewaterhouseCoopers, where they specialized in receiverships, bankruptcies, corporate finance, and M&A transactions.

Kevin Melnyk completed a BA in Economics and Administrative Studies at The University of Winnipeg from 1983 to 1986. Kevin then obtained a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the University of Manitoba from 1986 to 1988. Following this, they completed their Chartered Accountant degree from CICA from 1989 to 1992, specializing in CPA, CA. Lastly, Kevin pursued their Chartered Financial Analyst degree from CFA Institute from 1999 to 2002.
