Anne T. Warner

Anne is the chief legal officer of Algorand, responsible for all legal matters worldwide. Anne joins Algorand after a +20 year career of progressively responsible in-house counsel positions, including Senior Counsel roles at Alexion Pharmaceutical and Inverness Medical, and General Counsel positions at Pegasystems and Velcro USA. Anne is an international law generalist, with experience in corporate law, employment law, M&A, securities law, and a variety of other areas of expertise, and has practiced in more than 30 countries.

At the beginning of her career, Anne was a lawyer for the firms of Cooley, Godward, and Hill & Barlow. During a several-year career hiatus to raise young children, Anne was also a Selectman of the Town of Belmont, a member of the US Olympic Committee for her sport of rowing, and a Board member at her local music school.

Receiving a Bachelor of Arts from Yale University in Russian Studies and a Juris Doctorate from Harvard Law School, Anne was an Olympic medalist in the eight-oared shell and a member of five World Championship rowing teams. She was also the conductor of the Yale and Cambridge Slavic Choruses and remains to this day a dedicated amateur pianist and master single sculler.
