Master Control/ Media Management at Alhurra

Elmer Bumbray has a diverse range of work experience spanning multiple industries. Elmer most recently worked as a Freelance/Contractor Master Control and Media Management for Middle East Broadcasting Networks. In this role, they operated the Miranda ITX playback system and was responsible for playlist management, QC segments during live events, and media management tasks such as ingesting live video and packages from various sources.

Prior to this, Elmer worked as an Audio Visual Technician for MGM and as a Senior Master Control Technician for NBC Sports. In these positions, they handled live sports events and was involved in switch operations, satellite feeds, and encoding promotional materials.

Elmer also worked as a Freelance Transmission Technician for Fox News Channel, a Master Control Operator for C-SPAN, an Associate Director for WTTG Washington, and a Production Assistant for America's Most Wanted. Their early career includes a role as a Diesel Engineer in the United States Coast Guard.

Elmer Bumbray attended The Center of Media Arts in New York from 1991 to 1993, where they earned an Associate's degree. Their field of study was Television Production.
