Ibrahim Métar has a diverse work experience that spans over a decade. Ibrahim began their career as a Journalist at Achoroq El Jadid Newspaper, where they covered conferences, events, and interviewed political leaders. After that, they worked as a Reporter at MFM RADIO, reporting local news and managing mobile photography and videography equipment.

In 2012, Ibrahim joined 2M TV as a Bilingual Reporter-Editor, writing and producing daily coverage and reports about different issues across Morocco. Ibrahim also presented weather and economic news and curated relevant news pieces for the TV station.

From 2016 to 2017, Ibrahim worked as a Reporter at Middle East Broadcasting Networks, focusing on human rights across the Middle East and North Africa. Ibrahim earned commendations for their excellence in writing, reporting, photojournalism, and video editing during their time there.

Ibrahim then became a Project Assistant at Globalme in 2018, followed by a stint as a Journalist at TRT Arabi and a self-employed Journalist from 2018 to 2019.

In 2019, Ibrahim worked as a Berber Language and Culture Instructor at ICA Language Services, developing curriculum and assessing student progress to ensure the success of the language program.

In 2020, they joined Echo Arabi as a Multimedia Reporter, where they wrote scripts, shot, and produced video stories. Ibrahim also developed multimedia content for distribution across multiple platforms and collaborated with reporters, chief editors, and producers.

Currently, Ibrahim is a Social Media Producer at Middle East Broadcasting Networks, a role they started in 2021.

Ibrahim Métar completed their education at the Institut Supérieur de l'Information et de la Communication - ISIC Rabat. From the years 2010 to 2013, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Broadcast Journalism & Communication. Afterwards, they pursued a Master's degree and studied Political Communication from 2015 to 2019. Additionally, Ibrahim has acquired various certifications related to their field. In 2016, they obtained a certification for TV News Anchoring from 2M TV. In 2017, they received a certification in Storytelling & Multimedia from Middle East Broadcasting Networks. In 2020, Ibrahim further enhanced their skills by obtaining certifications such as Citizen Politics in America: Public Opinion, Elections, Interest Groups, and the Media from Harvard University, Documentary Filmmaking from Al Jazeera Media Institute, ILR Skill Descriptions: Speaking, Testing: DLPT Preparation & ILR Levels for Listening and Reading, and Teaching Listening from ICA Language Services.
