Kay Lynn Parks

Kay Lynn Parks has an extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Kay Lynn began their career in 1991 as a Sr. Program Manager at Agere Systems, where they worked until 2003. Kay Lynn then joined INFONXX as Interim Director of the Program Management Office. In 2005, they moved to KPMG, LLC as a Manager of IT Advisory and Information Risk Management. In 2007, they joined NRG Energy as Manager of IT Internal Audit. From 2010 to 2015, they worked as an Independent Consultant, providing Compliance and Risk Consulting services. From 2015-2017, they worked as Chief Financial Officer at MGN Logistics, Inc. and then joined Ampcus Inc. as a Risk Management and Compliance Consultant and later as an Information Risk Management Consultant at AARP Headquarters. Since 2018, they have been working as a Principle Security Consultant at Aliado Solutions, LLC., where they design Risk Management and Information Security Governance solutions, leads Regulatory recovery initiatives, spearheads Program Management principles, and is in the process of obtaining SPLUNK Enterprise Certified Admin Certification.

Kay Lynn Parks holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from Muhlenberg College. Kay Lynn has obtained additional certifications including Certified In Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) from the ISACA Greater Washington, D.C. Chapter in November 2010, Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in March 2007, Certified Information Systems Auditor from ISACA in February 2007, Splunk Core Certified User from Splunk in January 2019, and Splunk Core Certified Power User from Splunk in January 2019.
