Jed Rice

Jed Rice is the current CEO of Aliaswire. Prior to this, they served as Senior Director & GM of Global Business Development for PayPal from April 2015 to September 2019. In this role, they led a cross-functional business development team responsible for strategy, go-to-market, partnerships, and sales for PayPal's push into new vertical market segments.

From October 2005 to March 2011, Jed was VP of Strategic Sales & Corporate Development at Skyhook, where they were a member of the executive team that helped invent, build, deploy, and operate the multi-signal location technology platform behind the 'blue dot' on the map that operates on almost every smartphone in market today.

From March 2011 to April 2015, Jed was SVP of Business & Corporate Development at Paydiant, where they were a member of the executive team (and first non-founder employee) that helped build Paydiant from concept though initial market penetration, through rapid growth, and ultimately completing a successful acquisition by PayPal.

Prior to joining Skyhook in October 2005, Jed served as Senior Director of Self-Service Solutions at Siebel, Inc. from January 2005 to October 2005.

Jed Rice graduated from Georgetown University with a BA in International Relations. Jed then went on to earn their MBA in Corporate Strategy & Finance from Boston College. Finally, they earned their JD from Boston College in Law.
