Kaan Topçu

Kaan Topçu has a diverse work experience in various industries and roles. Kaan started their career as an intern at Componenta, where they gained practical knowledge about production planning and observed the functioning of the industry. Kaan then interned at LAV, where they worked on a project to improve the quality control process.

Later, Kaan joined British American Tobacco as a project intern and contributed to the construction of a board displaying the factory's environmental health and safety status. Kaan also created a database for the EH&S team.

Kaan continued their professional journey at Arçelik A.Ş. as a system design project team member. In this role, they analyzed the assembly line of the company's compressor plant and used system thinking methodologies to identify areas for improvement.

Prior to joining Alictus as a senior data analyst, Kaan worked at Bosch as a part-time student. During their time at Bosch, they collaborated with the Deployment Business Excellence team to digitize the company's database. Kaan also worked with the continuous improvement process team to develop problem-solving tools for both production-related and non-production-related areas.

Before their current role, Kaan worked as a production planning engineer at Roketsan Missiles Inc., where they were responsible for planning and coordinating production activities.

Kaan Topçu's education history begins in 2013 when they enrolled in Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi (Middle East Technical University) to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering. Kaan completed their bachelor's degree in 2018.

During their undergraduate studies, in 2017, Kaan Topçu had the opportunity to study abroad at Aalto University. Kaan pursued a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering for a brief period at Aalto University.

After completing their bachelor's degree, Kaan Topçu continued their education at Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi, where they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Information Technology starting from 2019. Kaan'smaster's program is expected to be completed in 2022.

In addition to their formal education, Kaan Topçu has obtained several certifications. In 2022, they completed the "Foundations of Sports Analytics: Data, Representation, and Models in Sports" certification from the University of Michigan. Kaan also obtained multiple certifications in football scouting and analysis from the Professional Football Scouts Association (PFSA) in August and September 2022.

More recently, in 2023, Kaan Topçu earned certifications in various fields including "Introduction to Computer Vision and Image Processing" from IBM, "AI for Medical Diagnosis" from DeepLearning.AI, and "Moneyball and Beyond" from the University of Michigan.
