Sylvia Imbai

Sylvia Imbai is currently the Director of People Relations & Wellbeing at Alight, providing advisory and partner functions to align people with company values and strategy. Prior to this, Sylvia worked at Plan International as HRBP for West and Central Africa, overseeing HR standards and practices. Sylvia also served as the Regional Human Resources Manager at Planned Parenthood Federation of America, focusing on organizational results and staff development. In their role as an HR Delegate at International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, Sylvia supported HR functions across Africa and led personnel deployment during the Ebola Virus Operation. Sylvia also has experience in HR at GlaxoSmithKline and AMREF, where Sylvia started as an intern and advanced to an Administrative Assistant role. Sylvia holds an MBA in International Business Management and has degrees and diplomas in Human Resources Management.
