Robert Kihm

Robert Kihm has a diverse work experience that spans over several companies and roles. Robert currently holds the position of Chief Technology Officer at Align since 2018. Before that, they worked at Community Brands, where they served as Chief Software Architect of Aptify and later became the Chief Software Architect. In these roles, they were responsible for leading Aptify's Technology Platform and Business Applications, as well as heading Aptify's Innovation Labs. Kihm also played a key role in the due diligence process that led to the acquisition of Aptify by Community Brands.

Prior to their time at Community Brands, Kihm held various positions at GE Capital and California Federal Bank. Robert also co-founded Definitive Ideas, a company specializing in business application development on Windows, where they served as President and Co-founder. During their time at Definitive Ideas, they played a pivotal role in the development of the Definitive Management System (DMS), one of the first Windows-based Point of Sale applications with integrated financials.
