Viseth Sean

Viseth Sean started their work experience in 2013 as a Software Developer at ACLEDA Bank Plc. Viseth then transitioned to data science roles, starting as a Data Science Graduate Project at IBM in 2016. Viseth later worked as a Data Science Intern at HP in 2016 and 2017. In 2018, they served as an Advanced Analytics Intern at Travelers. From 2019 to 2020, they worked as a Data Science Intern at Alignment Healthcare, and since 2020, they have been working as a Data Scientist at Alignment Healthcare. Alongside their internships, Sean also gained experience as a Graduate Research Assistant and a Teaching Assistant in various roles at Chapman University from 2017 to 2020, where they primarily focused on data structures, algorithms, and operating systems.

Viseth Sean's education history begins in 2008 when they enrolled at the Royal University of Phnom Penh and pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science, completing it in 2012. In the same year, they participated in the Global UGRAD Program at East Tennessee State University, focusing on Computer Science.

In 2014, Viseth attended Miami Dade College for a Fulbright Gateway program, which does not specify a specific degree. Concurrently, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Data Science at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, completing the program in 2016.

In 2015, Viseth also completed a leadership and civic engagement program called the Hesselbein Global Leadership Academy at the University of Pittsburgh.

Continuing their education, Viseth pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Computational and Data Sciences at Chapman University from 2017 to 2020.

During their educational journey, Viseth also obtained various certifications. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Neil Blumenthal on Branding from LinkedIn and Data Mining with Weka from The University of Waikato, Hamilton NZ.
