Scott Thomas

Scott Thomas currently serves as the General Manager of Power Generation & Construction at Alinta Energy, a position held since July 2018, where responsibilities include overseeing the P&L and overall performance of the power generation business in Australia and New Zealand, focusing on safety, operations, asset strategy, customer management, and construction. Prior to this role, Scott Thomas had an extensive tenure at AGL from January 2003 to November 2023, during which various positions were held, including General Manager of Business Customers, General Manager of Business Customers & Power Development, Acting Group General Manager of Upstream Gas, General Manager of Macquarie Generation, and other senior roles. Scott Thomas holds a Commerce degree in Marketing from the University of Western Sydney and an MBA from Southern Cross University.
