Samip Shah

Samip Shah has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Samip is currently working as the Vice President of Regulatory Affairs & Quality Assurance at AliveCor since March 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Quality Management System and Compliance at AliveCor from June 2021 to March 2023.

Before joining AliveCor, Samip worked at DEKRA Product Testing & Certification for over 13 years, starting in 2008. There, they held the position of Sr. Medical Device Expert and was responsible for product assessment, compliance verification, and ISO certification.

Earlier in their career, Samip worked as a Quality Engineer at Alcon for two years from 2006 to 2008. Samip also served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Doheny Eye Institute from 2002 to 2006, where they conducted experiments and developed models related to prosthetic vision for the blind.

Samip Shah completed a Masters degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering at the University of Southern California in 2006. Prior to that, they also obtained a Masters degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the same university in 2004.
