Frank Romero has over 15 years of work experience, starting in 2006 at Cargo Services, Inc. as an IT Analyst & Developer. Frank then worked as an IT Developer at AdShip.com from 2009 to 2010. From 2010 to 2011, they were a Consultant Software Developer and Owner at Ronet Systems. Frank joined UnitedHealthCare South Florida in 2011 as a Senior Software Developer until 2015. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer in Support and Delivery at Carnival Cruise Line TCS. In 2017, they founded Pooler. Currently, they are the Chief Technology Architect at Alivi since February 2018, also holding previous roles of Architect, Senior Software Engineer, and Manager.

Frank Romero obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Software Engineering from Universidad Tecnológica de La Habana "José Antonio Echeverría" (CUJAE) from 1998 to 2003. In 2019, they enrolled at UC San Diego for a Data Science MicroMasters program, which they completed in 2020. Frank also attained various certifications such as "DSE230x: Big Data Analytics Using Spark," "DSE200x: Python for Data Science," "DSE210x: Probability and Statistics in Data Science using Python," "DSE220x: Machine Learning Fundamentals," and "AWS Certified Solutions Architect" from different institutions between 2019 and 2020.
