Tim Roberts

Tim Roberts is a distinguished professional in the fields of cybersecurity, risk, and compliance, currently serving as Partner & Managing Director and UK Country Co-Leader at AlixPartners since March 2019. In addition to this role, Tim has been Chair of the Mayor's Fund for London while also serving as a Trustee and Chair of the Programme Committee. Previous positions include Vice President and Partner at IBM Security Services, Managing Director at Promontory Financial Group, Chief Operating Officer at Ignis Asset Management, and Senior Partner at McKinsey & Company, where Tim co-founded the global risk management practice. Tim began their career in finance at SG Warburg and has also held a military position as a Second Lieutenant in the British Army. Educational credentials include a Master of Arts in Mathematics and Philosophy from the University of Oxford, a Diploma in Accounting and Finance from ACCA, and a Black Belt in Judo from The Budokwai, London.
