Deep Varma

Deep Varma has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Deep currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Alkami Technology since 2023. Prior to that, they held the same position at Varo Bank from 2019 to 2023. Before joining Varo Bank, Deep Varma worked at Zillow as the SVP of Engineering, leading engineering functions for Trulia. Deep also held positions at Bazaarvoice and Zuberance Inc as VP of Platform Engineering and Co-Founder and VP of Engineering and Technology, respectively. Deep Varma co-founded TradeSeam and served as the VP of Engineering. Earlier in their career, they worked at Yahoo! Inc. as a Sr. Director of Engineering, ABB as Chief Architect, and IBM Almaden Research Center as a Principal Engineer.

Deep Varma has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from Delhi University, which they earned from 1991 to 1993. Deep then obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley, from 1993 to 1994. In 1995 to 1996, they pursued an MBA in Management from the same university.
