Tom de Baerdemaeker

Tom De Baerdemaeker currently serves as the S&OP Manager at Alken-Maes, where responsibilities include leading a team of demand and supply planners across multiple sites and overseeing supply and demand planning with financial considerations. Previously, Tom held the position of Supply Chain Director S&OP at Signify, focusing on global standardization of S&OP processes and managing monthly demand, supply, and inventory data. At Philips Lighting, Tom was the Head of Supply Chain Africa, enhancing the S&OP process and optimizing inventory and service levels across the continent. With earlier roles including Global Supply Chain Manager and various positions within Philips, Tom has extensive experience in supply chain management, Lean, and Six Sigma methodologies. Tom's educational background includes a postgraduate degree in Business/Managerial Economics from KU Leuven and a Master's degree in Civil Engineering from Ghent University.
