Melvin van Melzen has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. In 2011, they worked as a Computerhulp aan huis at Studentaanhuis.nl, providing computer assistance to clients. From 2011 to 2013, they served as the Voorzitter en fotograaf in Flitcie (Fotocommissie) at S.V.A.T. Astatine, where they chaired meetings and organized photography activities. In 2014, they worked as a Werkstudent Civiele Techniek at Enginear, performing tasks related to dry infrastructure and utilizing Excel to manipulate complex data. Melvin then served as the Commissioner of Education at Studievereniging of CoUrsE! in 2014-2015, ensuring educational quality assurance and collecting student feedback. Melvin van Melzen obtained their Bachelor in Advanced Technology degree from the University of Twente, where they studied advanced technology. Melvin then pursued their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Construction Management and Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology. Prior to that, between the years 2001 and 2007, Melvin attended Isendoorn College Warnsveld, where they completed their VWO degree with a focus on Profiel Natuur en Techniek (Profile Nature and Technology).
