Sjoerd Dijkstra

Sjoerd Dijkstra's work experience includes roles at various companies. Sjoerd started their career as a Newsboy at Interlanden in 2009 and later worked as a Newsboy at Maasstad Verspreidingen from 2011 to 2014. In 2012, they joined Ahold as a Stockboy until 2014. Sjoerd then worked as a Private Tutor at Erudio in 2015 and as a Tutor at Lyceo from 2015 to 2016. Sjoerd also had roles at B&R Beurs Erasmus Investment Society, where they served as a Member of the academy committee from 2015 to 2016 and as an Ambassador for Investment Week and Symposium in 2016. In 2016, Sjoerd became a Trading Assistant at Optiver until 2018. Sjoerd then worked at All Options, starting as a Junior Trader from 2019 to 2020, followed by roles as a Trader from 2021 to 2022, a Senior Trader from July to December 2022, and currently as a Team Lead Sector Trading from January 2023.

Sjoerd Dijkstra obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Quantitative Finance from Erasmus University Rotterdam in the years 2016-2018. Before this, they studied Econometrie & Operationele research at the same university from 2013-2016. Sjoerd also completed a minor program at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in 2015. Sjoerd completed their VWO (pre-university) education at Comenius College Lijstersingel from 2007-2013, with a focus on N&T en N&G. Additionally, they pursued VWO++ studies at the same college from 2007-2010.
