Jake Lubitz

Jake Lubitz has a strong background in network engineering, with experience spanning over several companies. Jake most recently served as the Director of Network Engineering at All Points Broadband, overseeing the evaluation, design, installation, maintenance, and operation of the company's internet service provider platform. Prior to that, they worked at C Spire, where they held various roles, including Manager of Infrastructure - Access Engineering and Lead of Infrastructure - Access Engineering. In these positions, they were responsible for increasing subscriber numbers, leading teams of engineers, and collaborating with other departments. Before joining C Spire, Lubitz worked as a Senior Network Designer at Minnesota IT Services, where they provided network design, automation, and management for intranet and internet connectivity. Earlier in their career, they held network engineering roles at Consolidated Communications, Enventis, and Arvig, where they gained expertise in designing, implementing, and supporting reliable service provider networks.

Jake Lubitz completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems with a focus on Business Administration at the University of Minnesota Duluth from 2003 to 2007. Before that, they attended Perham High School from 1999 to 2003, but no specific degree or field of study was mentioned for their high school education.

In addition to their formal education, Jake has obtained several certifications. Jake became an E7 Active Ethernet Specialist from Calix in April 2017. Prior to that, they earned the E7 GPON Specialist and Ethernet Access Network Specialist certifications from Calix in March 2016. Furthermore, they obtained the Extreme Networks Specialist certification from Extreme Networks in November 2011 and the Extreme Networks Associate certification in March 2011.
