Ousmane Balde, MBA

Ousmane Balde, MBA, has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Ousmane began their career in 2000 as an Accounting Assistant at Shell Oil Company, where they worked until 2002. In 2006, they joined Key Mark as a Shipping Coordinator, and later transitioned to Fulton-Montgomery Community College as a Tutor from 2008 to 2009.

In 2007, Ousmane joined Target as a TSS/Clerical/Logistics Tech, where they are currently employed. Ousmane manages scheduling of inbound merchandise, ensures transportation guidelines are followed, and communicates with carriers to reschedule loads.

From 2015 to 2018, Ousmane worked at GLOBALFOUNDRIES as a Sr Logistics Tech. Ousmane analyzed and resolved inventory accuracy issues, performed wafer removal and started processes, supported lab jobs, and managed national and international wafer shipments. Ousmane also played a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations through metrics tracking.

From 2017 to 2018, Ousmane served as a Graduate Assistantship at The College of Saint Rose, where they worked as a Research and Data Analyst.

Ousmane joined Von Roll in 2018 as a Logistics Operations Manager. In this role, they managed a team, maximized production, improved on-time delivery metrics, and significantly increased logistics on-time delivery from 65% to 98%.

Currently, starting in 2022, Ousmane holds two roles at All Star Auto Parts: Operations Manager, and Inventory Manager.

Ousmane Balde, MBA has an extensive education history. Ousmane obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from The College of Saint Rose, where they studied from 2017 to 2019. Before pursuing their MBA, Ousmane had also completed their Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Business/Management from GAMAL ABDEL NASSER OF CONAKRY between 1998 and 2002. Additionally, they obtained a degree in Mathematical Science from the University at Albany, SUNY, where they studied from 2013 to 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Ousmane has also obtained several certifications. These include Careers in Supply Chain and Operations from LinkedIn, obtained in February 2023, and various SAP-related certifications from LinkedIn, obtained in January 2022. Furthermore, they have completed a Project Management Foundations course from Lynda.com in June 2018.
