Art Thompson

Art Thompson has worked in the IT and Database industry since 1993. From 1993 to 2000, they worked at The SEARLE Company Ltd. as a Clinical Database Administrator, where they recruited and managed a team of 5 Oracle DBAs and developed system enhancements using established SDLC methodologies. From 2000 to 2004, they worked at Pfizer as a New Technologies Analyst, where they were responsible for the process invention, validation and implementation of major clinical research technologies. From 2004 to 2010, they worked at Lundbeck as a Systems Engineer and DBA, where they performed database upgrades, installations and maintenance of Clinical and Pharmacovigilance databases. From 2010 to 2011, they worked at Herc Networks as a Systems Engineer (consultant), where they renovated customers' IT infrastructures into more secure, stable and strategic business assets. From 2018 to present, they have worked at Available as a Database and Technology Professional.

Art Thompson obtained a BS in Computer Science from Ball State University between 1989 and 1993. Art also holds three certifications: SAS Programming 1: Essentials from SAS, obtained in June 2018; Oracle Database 11g Certified Professional from Oracle, obtained in October 2017; and Oracle Database 11g Administrator Certified Associate from Oracle, obtained in December 2011.
