Jonas Huelsemann

Jonas H. is currently a First Officer for the A220 at Swiss International Air Lines since November 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a Research and Development Engineer at ANDRITZ Soutec AG from April to November 2023, focusing on quality management through 5S implementation, process optimization, and the development of machine learning algorithms for weld classification. In early 2023, Jonas worked as a CNC Operator at Büchi AG, managing CNC programming and machine optimization. Military experience includes roles as a Military Pilot with the Swiss Army in 2018 and completing military service from October 2016 to November 2017. In the machining sector, Jonas operated CNC machines at Bruno Lehmann AG during two stints from 2011 to 2018. Educational qualifications include an ATPL(A) from European Flight Academy and a BSc in Aviation UAS from ZHAW School of Engineering, alongside technical and vocational training in polymechanics and technical fields.
